Joyful Learning Moments and Nature-Based Play
Get a glimpse into our world where 'messy' is a badge of honor and every day is a new adventure in discovery.
We believe in learning through joyful, messy play. Here, one of our littles is completely absorbed in creating a story in our pretend pond, a perfect example of a sensory play activity that engages the imagination and connects children with nature.
We bring magical cultural experiences to our children, like this mesmerizing Tholpaavakoothu shadow puppet show. It’s a wonderful way to introduce performing arts and traditional Indian storytelling, creating memories that last a lifetime.
Our STEM and Robotics classes, starting from age three, are all about hands-on discovery. Using tools like LEGO, children work together to build, problem-solve, and bring their innovative ideas to life in a fun, supportive setting.
We are not afraid to get silly and talk about things that fascinate toddlers, like animal poo! This sensory activity lets kids explore different textures and learn about animal diets in the most hilarious and memorable way.
Look at that proud smile! This little one is showing off the bird and nest she created, a perfect example of our process art philosophy where the joy is in the making. This nature craft activity helps develop fine motor skills and creativity.
Nothing beats the squish and glee of making swamp slime! This sensory activity is a huge hit, letting our littles explore textures and engage in some wonderfully messy, imaginative play.
Music and stories bring us together. Our Musical Book Tour events combine live Indian classical music with storytelling, creating an immersive experience that fosters a love for both literature and our rich musical heritage.
About this collection
At Earthlings, we don't believe in sit-down drills or rigid workbooks. Instead, you will find us deep in the garden hunting for worm habitats or using blocks to understand robotics, because we know that when kids are truly engaged, the learning just happens naturally.
Beyond the Classroom
We believe the best classroom has no walls. Our approach is simple: let kids be kids. Whether we are building bird nests, creating swamp slime, or exploring the intricacies of robotics with LEGO, the focus is always on the process rather than the final result.
Our Core Pillars
- Nature & Sensory Play: We lean into the messy stuff. Mud, water, and sand are our favorite tools for developing motor skills and curiosity. We encourage kids to touch, squash, and explore.
- STEM & Robotics: Science starts early here. We introduce logic and problem-solving through hands-on workshops using LEGO Education kits, making technology tangible and fun for ages 3 to 10.
- Cultural Roots: We bring traditions like Tholpaavakoothu shadow puppetry into our space to help children connect with their heritage through stories, music, and performance.
- Community: We are more than a school. From potlucks for families to workshops for parents, we strive to build a community where everyone feels at home.
Why Parents Choose Us
We keep our groups small (8-10 children) to ensure that every little one gets noticed and heard. We avoid worksheets and rigid schedules, preferring a flow that allows children to follow their own curiosity. If your child is the type who loves to get grubby, ask endless questions about insects, or build complex machines, they will find their tribe right here in RMV 2nd Stage.
Earthlings Early Years
We’re two foodies who somehow ended up running a preschool, so you know we prioritize community and real connection over stiff classrooms. Our space in RMV 2nd Stage is designed for little ones to get their hands dirty, explore their curiosity, and grow up knowing what truly connects us all.
