Experience the grace of the Divine Feminine through our traditional Devi Abhishekam rituals in our consecrated East Delhi studio.

Lighting one of the many diyas during a Devi Abhishekam. Each flame is an offering, a prayer to the Divine Feminine, illuminating the space with devotion.

A moment of prayer before the Trishul at the Linga Bhairavi Nepal Temple. The energy during the Devi Abhishekam was electric, a truly unforgettable experience of her grace.

A volunteer carefully lights the 11 brass lamps on the wall next to the Devi Yantra. This is a key part of our Abhishekam ritual, symbolizing the 11 aspects of Devi's energy.

I am making final preparations before the Devi Abhishekam begins. Ensuring the space is perfectly set is an offering in itself, done with utmost care and reverence.

Two devotees bow before the Devi Avigna Yantra. In these moments of surrender, one can truly feel the embrace of the Divine Mother.

A seeker lies in a posture of surrender before the Devi Yantra during an Amavasya night. The space allows for personal and profound expressions of devotion.

Another moment of deep surrender before the Devi. The red carpet signifies her vibrant, earthy energy, creating a consecrated ground for our practices.

Our Sangha gathered for the Devi Abhishekam. We sit together, eyes fixed on her form, as the rituals unfold and fill the space with transformative energy.

I am standing and holding the space as our community gathers for the first Devi Abhishekam. It was a heavenly moment, filled with the love and devotion of nearly 50 volunteers.

After the main rituals, people often stay to sit in the charged atmosphere. The space remains open for anyone to quietly soak in Devi's grace.

About Devi Abhishekam & Rituals

The Devi Abhishekam is a process of clearing and offering, centered around 11 consecrated lamps lit alongside the Yantra. During a sponsored ritual, you have a private 20-minute slot for personal Sankalpa (intent setting) while we perform the offering of 11 organic ingredients, from fresh sandalwood paste to pure ghee, creating a tangible connection with the energy of Linga Bhairavi.

Our Approach to Rituals

At Dwijas, the Devi Abhishekam is not merely a ceremony; it is an invitation to align your inner energy. By lighting 11 lamps and making specific offerings, we work with the consecrated Avighna Yantra to create a space where obstacles can dissolve and clarity can emerge.

What to Expect

  • The Offering: We use 11 organic ingredients, including cow milk, honey, sandalwood paste, and rose water, to perform the Abhishekam.
  • Personal Sankalpa: When you sponsor a ritual, you are provided with a private 20-minute slot to set your intent in the presence of the Yantra before the ritual begins.
  • Saree Draping: If you wish to offer a saree to the Devi, we provide a specialized service where we professionally drape, pin, and energize the vastram (garment) at the Yantra’s feet, allowing you to take it home as a blessed item afterward.
