The cycles of the moon have a profound impact on our internal state. On Purnima and Amavasya nights, we gather to align with these natural rhythms, using simple rituals to deepen our experience of grace, devotion, and stillness.

A full house for our Guru Purnima celebration. The day was filled with devotion, exuberance, and the shared joy of our Sangha as we honored the Guru.

Devotees of all ages, from the young to the elderly, participate in our Guru Purnima chants. Their faces reflect a deep sense of involvement and love.

The full moon, a powerful presence in the night sky. On Purnima nights, we gather to align ourselves with this natural cycle and open ourselves to grace.

Our Sangha gathered for a full moon celebration. We held a Sadhguru Sannidhi Puja and Devi Abhishekam, making it a night to remember with three powerful ways to receive.

About Sacred Moon Gatherings: Purnima & Amavasya

For these monthly gatherings, we keep the studio dimly lit and open for a 2.5-hour session of silent meditation, Sadhguru Sannidhi chants, and Devi Abhishekam. It is an invitation to simply sit, align with the cycle, and let the space work on you without any need for prior knowledge of the process.

The lunar cycle has a direct impact on our system. On Purnima nights, the energy is expansive and vibrant, ideal for absorption, while Amavasya is a time to turn inward, into the stillness of the new moon.

We host these gatherings in our consecrated space near Karkardooma. The evening follows a rhythm. We start with the Sadhguru Sannidhi Puja, a simple, powerful invocation, followed by the Devi Abhishekam. We light 11 lamps and make offerings to the Linga Bhairavi Devi, which helps tune one’s energy. The rest of the time is held in silence, allowing the consecrated environment of the Sannidhi and the Yantra to settle deep into your system.

People often ask if they need to know anything before coming. The answer is no. You do not need to know the chants or have a background in yoga. We provide cushions, mats, and the environment. All we ask is that you come with an open heart. Some bring flowers for the altar; others simply bring themselves. Whether you are searching for a quiet place to sit or a community to share the practice with, you are welcome here.

I am here simply to hold space for this Sangha. We are a family of seekers, and these moon gatherings are the times when our community feels most alive. Come sit with us, let the chants settle, and experience the stillness that is always waiting here.
