My musical journey is filled with more than just performances. From the high-energy joy of a live show to the quiet thrill of discovering historical instruments, here are a few glimpses into my life!!!!!!!

Taking a moment to relax after a fabulous show at Windmills Craftworks. It's always nice to see so many fans and friends in the audience.

With my wonderful musician friends at Praveen Godkhindi's Guruvandana festival. Catching up with friends from all over is one of the best parts of attending music festivals.

A close-up of a fascinating historical veena I saw at the Venkatappa Art Gallery. This one from the 1950s or 60s has small resonators on the top board, a feature I had never seen before.

Another detail of the vintage veenas at the art gallery. The craftsmanship and design of these old instruments are a source of endless fascination and learning for me.

A full view of one of the beautiful old veenas displayed in a glass case at the Venkatappa Art Gallery. The history and evolution of my instrument is a subject very close to my heart.

About this collection

These photos capture the life of a musician beyond the concert stage. From the shared joy with friends after a performance at Windmills Craftworks to my fascination while examining vintage veenas at the Venkatappa Art Gallery, these snapshots define my journey!!!!!!! They represent the genuine 'why' behind my music and my constant curiosity.

I am always looking for new perspectives in music. Standing in front of those 1950s instruments, I was struck by the small resonators on the top board—a detail I had not seen on modern instruments. It reminded me that we never stop learning. My work as a researcher and performer is fueled by these discoveries. When I am not on stage at venues like the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, you will likely find me diving into archives or teaching students at the Tarangini Arts Foundation. Every concert, every interaction with fellow musicians like Praveen Godkhindi, and every workshop brings a fresh layer of depth to my art. I love sharing these stories and the history of this magnificent instrument with anyone who is interested. Whether you are a student, a connoisseur, or just curious about Carnatic music, there is always something new to explore together!!!!!!!
