Interactive Veena Workshops

I love bringing musicians together for hands-on veena ensemble workshops. These sessions are for everyone, from curious beginners to experienced players, focusing on collaborative learning and the joy of creating music as a group. We often prepare for large-scale productions, like our 50-member 'Meera Tarangini' ensemble.

Global Lecture-Demonstrations

My lec-dems are designed to be engaging musical conversations, not dry lectures. I combine storytelling, live veena demonstrations, and simple explanations to make Carnatic music accessible to diverse audiences, from university students in India to festival-goers in Germany.

Speaking Engagements & Panel Discussions

I frequently participate in cultural panels, academic meetings, and memorial events to share my musical journey and discuss the future of our art forms. These events include everything from think-tank programs with government officials to community meetings with fellow music teachers.

As Guest of Honor & Inaugurator

It is always an honor to be invited as a chief guest or to inaugurate music festivals and student arangetrams. I believe in encouraging the next generation of artists and celebrating the milestones of our cultural institutions.

Awards & Recognitions

I am deeply grateful for the recognition I have received over my 50-year journey in music. These awards, including the Chowdaiah National Award and lifetime achievement honors, are a testament to the power of Carnatic music and the support of the entire community.

Moments & Memories

Here are a few other moments from my journey. This includes candid shots with fellow musicians, quiet moments of reflection, and a look at the beautiful instrument that is at the center of my life, the veena.
