My Professional Drone Gear & Aerial Setup
Capturing the perfect aerial shot requires more than just a drone. Here is the professional gear I rely on to get smooth, high-quality shots at your event, and how I manage it on the ground.
Here I am in my element, operating my drone during an outdoor evening event. I maintain a clear line of sight and focus to capture smooth, controlled shots.

This is my complete DJI Air 3 fly more combo kit. I always come prepared with multiple batteries, spare propellers, and professional controllers to ensure the shoot goes on without any interruption.
My passion for drones is more than just a job. I am holding my reliable DJI Air 2S, ready for the next flight.

A view from my perspective. The DJI RC controller with its bright screen allows me to perfectly frame the shot, as seen here while preparing to film boats on the water.

About The Pilot & The Gear
I do not show up with just one drone. At every event, I carry a full DJI setup—usually the Air 3, Air 2S, or Phantom 4 Pro—along with multiple batteries and spare controllers. This isn't just about having backup gear; it is about choosing the right bird for your specific venue, whether it is a packed banquet hall or an open-air concert, to ensure your footage stays steady and sharp.
Why the right gear makes the difference
Aerial videography is unpredictable. Crowds, shifting stage lights, and tight venue spaces mean you cannot rely on luck. I use a mix of DJI hardware to handle different conditions:
- For Wide Shots: The Phantom 4 Pro is my go-to for stable, grand establishment shots of venues and landscapes.
- For Cinematic Movement: I use the Air 3 for its agile flight and low-light sensor capabilities, which are essential for evening functions and concerts.
- For High Speed: When you need a dynamic, high-energy film, I use FPV (First Person View) drones to get those 'through the crowd' shots that standard drones cannot capture.
My On-Site Process
My gear bag is always stocked with multiple batteries, smart controllers, and spare propellers because equipment failure should never be your problem. Whether I am shooting in Delhi, Udaipur, or Kochi, I maintain a strict maintenance schedule for all my equipment. My controller screen shows me exactly what you see in the final 4K output, so there is no guesswork. If you are planning an outdoor wedding or a stage event, we can discuss which drone setup best fits your space and your budget.
Santosh
I am Santosh, but my drone is basically my permanent plus-one. I do not just fly; I scout, plan, and navigate tight spaces to get the angle that makes the crowd look up. If you need someone who knows exactly how to handle a drone in a busy wedding crowd or a low-light concert, I am your pilot.
