My Drone Setup: The Gear Behind the Shots
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all flying. Here is how I choose the right bird for your specific event, from smooth cinematic sweeps to fast-paced FPV action.
This gives you a glimpse into my life as a drone pilot. It's a mix of high-speed FPV flying, setting up my equipment on site, and the incredible views I get to capture.
This video shows you both my perspective and the drone's. You can see me piloting from the ground, looking at the live feed on my controller, and then the final, stunning aerial result of the firework show.
When you want action, I bring out the FPV drone. This footage from a shoot in Thailand shows the fast-paced, immersive video style I can create, perfect for high-energy event recaps or property tours.
On location and ready to fly. This was taken during a destination wedding shoot in Goa. I travel all over India and beyond to get the perfect shot for your event.
About The Pilot & The Gear
For smooth, high-altitude 4K shots, I stick to my DJI Mavic 3. However, when you want those fast, immersive fly-throughs inside a venue or around a crowd, I switch to my FPV Cinewhoop with prop guards. Choosing the right drone means the difference between a standard shot and the 'kya view' moment you are actually looking for.
How I Fly
I handle every flight myself, from planning the angles to capturing the final frame. I do not send an assistant to do the flying. If I am booked for your event, I am the one behind the controller.
Why Different Drones Matter
-
The Cinematics (DJI Mavic 3): This is my go-to for grand, wide shots. If you want a top-down view of a palace in Rajasthan or a sweeping shot of a beach wedding in Goa, this is the machine for it. It records in 4K or 5.1K, giving your post-production team enough data to play with.
-
The Action (FPV Cinewhoop): This is for when you want energy. Because this drone is smaller and built with propeller guards, I can fly it indoors, through doorways, or close to people without safety concerns. It captures that fast-paced 'one-take' style that you cannot get with a standard drone.
Safety and Setup
When I am flying over crowds or near stage lighting, I use protocols that keep everyone safe. My FPV drone setup includes stabilization processing, so even if the flight looks wild, the footage stays smooth. Whether it is a daytime festival or a nighttime event with cold pyros, I bring the right kit to handle the specific lighting and safety requirements of your venue.
