A curated look at our favorite setups, from traditional Valaikappu backdrops to heartfelt naming ceremonies. We focus on the small details that make these family milestones feel truly personal.

This video showcases a complete Valaikappu (baby shower) stage we designed. We aimed for a warm, traditional feel using a rustic jute-textured backdrop, vibrant marigold flower arrangements, and auspicious banana plantains, creating a perfect setting for the mom-to-be.

Here is a walkthrough of an elegant Noolukettu, or naming ceremony, setup. We created a serene atmosphere with a clean white curtain backdrop, accented by fresh jasmine and marigold garlands, and a special space prepared with all the traditional items for the ceremony.

To make the welcome special, we designed this custom board featuring a lovely caricature of the parents-to-be, Roja and Vinayak. It’s these personal touches that help tell your unique family story.

This is the full view of our Noolukettu stage decor. The design is centered around the "Call Me" banner for the name reveal, framed by beautiful flower garlands and flanked by modern arched panels for a touch of contemporary elegance.

A complete view of the traditional Valaikappu stage. The setup includes a comfortable wooden bench for the mom-to-be, lit by traditional brass Nilavilakku lamps, and surrounded by bowls of fresh marigold flowers to complete the auspicious setting.

It warms our hearts to see families create beautiful memories against the backdrops we design. Here, the new parents share a quiet moment with their baby during the Noolukettu ceremony we decorated.

We pay close attention to the details of the ceremony itself. This setup includes a traditional brass Nilavilakku (lamp) placed on a bed of fresh flowers, ready for the sacred rituals of the naming ceremony.

About Featured

When we set up for a naming ceremony or Valaikappu, the first thing you will notice is the scent of fresh jasmine and marigolds filling the room. We never use artificial flowers for these specific rituals because that natural aroma is part of the tradition, and frankly, it just looks better in photos.
