About Elegant Noolukettu & Naming Ceremonies
When we plan a naming ceremony, we don’t just put up drapes. We handle the specific logistics like ensuring the brass Nilavilakku lamps are polished and the fresh malli (jasmine) arrives hours before your guests so it smells incredible for the start of your rituals. Our three-person crew arrives two hours early to prep the ritual area, so you aren't rushing while welcoming guests.
Your baby’s naming ceremony is a moment to pause and celebrate, and we believe the environment should reflect that peace. We focus on creating a space that feels personal, blending modern elegance with the traditional elements essential for a proper Noolukettu.
Our Setup Details
Most of our naming ceremony setups are built on a 10x8 feet white fabric backdrop, which acts as a clean, bright canvas. We flank this with custom botanical-patterned arched panels and hang thick curtains of fresh, fragrant jasmine and yellow marigolds. It creates a space that looks beautiful in photos without distracting from the main event—your baby.
Rituals & Traditions
We know that for a Noolukettu, the details matter. Whether you need a specific space for the cradle, fresh banana leaves for your offerings, or the traditional brass Nilavilakku oil lamps, we ensure everything is perfectly placed. We set up a low-level floor platform covered in white fabric, providing a comfortable area for the family to gather for the rituals.

How We Work
We are based in Sarjapur, but we travel to venues all across Bangalore. Our team of three handles everything, from bringing the props to the post-event teardown, so you can simply enjoy the day.
