Our Featured Event Decor Designs
From intimate cradle ceremonies to grand wedding stages, here is a collection of my favourite designs. Each one represents hours of planning and a lot of heart.
This Pichwai-themed backdrop is one of my absolute favorites to create. The traditional art of the sacred cow and calf, combined with lush florals, brings such a divine and serene feeling to any celebration, especially for a baby shower or housewarming.
I love making naming ceremonies magical. This moon-shaped cradle design, adorned with a cascade of fresh flowers against a floral print backdrop, creates a dreamy setting to welcome a new baby.
To show my range, here is a modern and glamorous stage I designed for an anniversary party. The custom-lit abstract shapes and elegant floral arrangements create a sophisticated and unforgettable nighttime ambiance.
There's nothing like the energy of a Haldi ceremony. This outdoor setup features a hand-painted floor mandala and a canopy of fresh white and yellow flowers, creating a vibrant and picture-perfect space for the celebration.
For grand weddings, I can create breathtaking mandaps like this traditional temple-inspired structure. The intricate details, rich colors, and outdoor setting make for a truly royal wedding ceremony.
This backdrop for a Satyanarayana Pooja is a testament to how flowers can create powerful symbols. We used thousands of yellow, white, and red flowers to form this massive, auspicious namam, creating a truly divine focal point.
I wanted to share a little glimpse of what goes into an event day. It starts with late nights and loading trucks, but seeing the final decor come to life and the smiles on my clients' faces makes all the hard work worth it.
About this collection
When you pick a theme from these photos, know that I don't just copy the image. I look at your venue's space and lighting first to make sure it actually fits. If a Pinterest design won't work due to ceiling height or pillar placement, I will be honest with you upfront so we can adjust it rather than being disappointed later.
My approach to event styling is simple: we start with your vision and make it work for your reality. Whether you want a traditional Pichwai backdrop for a pooja or a modern, neon-lit stage for an anniversary, the goal is always to create a setup that feels right for the space.
Why my approach is different
- Real Venue Assessment: I don't believe in over-promising. Before we finalize a design, I look at the layout. A grand mandap looks different in an open lawn versus a compact hall, and I will help you adjust the floral volume and structure accordingly.
- The 'Fresh vs. Artificial' Mix: For most of my premium backdrops, I use high-quality artificial flowers. They provide volume and density that fresh flowers sometimes can't maintain for a long event, while keeping the cost reasonable. I mix in fresh jasmine or marigolds for the scent and sacred touch wherever it matters most.
- Customisation: If you have an idea, show me. If it's a specific theme for a naming ceremony or a reception, we'll source or build the props to match. My team handles everything—from transporting the props in our truck to the overnight setups—so you don't have to worry about the logistics.
Every project here reflects the 'Dream Decor' journey—from my early days working with balloons to the complex, full-scale event management I do now. If you're looking for someone who cares about your event as much as you do, let's talk about what we can create for your next celebration.
Dream Decor
I started this five years ago just blowing up balloons, and now I get to design entire wedding stages. I am Darshan, and I am honestly just grateful that people trust me with their most important days.
