About Our Latin Dance Parties
These parties are designed to get you on the dance floor fast, regardless of your experience. Every event I host at venues like Khar Social starts with a complimentary workshop where I break down the basics so you can jump straight into the social. It is about community and connection rather than just steps, so come ready to meet fellow dancers and enjoy the music.
My Latin dance socials in Mumbai are built around one simple philosophy: everyone who loves the rhythm belongs on the floor. I don't just DJ these nights; I curate them to ensure the energy stays high for everyone, from beginners taking their first turn to experienced dancers looking for a good lead or follow.
What happens at these socials?
Most of my events feature a pre-party workshop. This is crucial because it levels the playing field. We cover foundational footwork, social dance etiquette, and a few hand tricks that you can use immediately. By the time the music switches to full-on social mode, you've already broken the ice.
Why these events are different
I focus heavily on 'social survival'—giving you moves that actually work in a crowded bar or club setting. We alternate between Salsa (On1/On2) and Bachata (Sensual/Tradicional), and occasionally throw in Kizomba beats when the vibe demands it. I am always behind the console or on the floor, reading the energy of the room to adjust the music to keep people moving.
