Behind The Decks
A lot of people ask what the difference is between a playlist and a live performance. The answer is in the mix. When I am at the console, I am constantly analyzing the dance floor—reading the floor is my biggest strength. If the energy dips during a Bollywood set, I am already cueing up a high-bpm regional Kuthu track or a Progressive House edit to pull the vibe back up.
The Audio-Visual Synergy
You are not just hearing the music; you are seeing it. My setup goes beyond audio. I coordinate with VJ teams to sync visuals with the beat drops, turning a regular night into an immersive visual experience. This sync requires precise timing, especially when working with custom mashups that are not on any streaming platform.
Technical Setup
I operate on industry-standard Pioneer DJM and CDJ setups. For club nights and festivals across Chennai, Bangalore, and Coimbatore, I stick to a technical rider that ensures crisp, high-fidelity sound. Whether it is a 3-hour ambient bar set or a high-impact festival slot, I adapt the technical delivery to the venue acoustics.
