About this collection

You see the candid photos, but there is constant coordination happening underneath the surface. I am constantly signaling lighting engineers for drops, checking audio levels to match the venue's acoustics, and reading the room's energy to decide the next track. It is a mix of technical precision and crowd control that keeps the dance floor packed for the full four hours.

Behind the booth, it is not just about playing songs. Whether I am handling a crowd of 2,000 people at a festival or a private club night, the process remains the same. I use professional software to manage my library, ensuring that transitions are seamless and the beats match perfectly. When I perform a VDJ set, I am simultaneously mixing audio and visual elements, coordinating with the lighting team to time special effects with the biggest drops of the night.

The real magic happens in the split-second decisions. I curate the flow based on the crowd's reaction, whether it is high-intensity Bollywood, Punjabi beats, or English commercial tracks. My setup typically requires the venue to provide standard Pioneer CDJ consoles and a solid PA system, which allows me to plug in and start the set without delay. I do not just stand there; I am an active host, jumping on the mic to keep the energy up and direct the crowd. This is the difference between a simple playlist and a true performance. It is about creating a live experience that changes in real-time, matching the rhythm of the party to the people standing right in front of me.
