For these big slots, I do not just play music; I run a full visual DJ experience. I bring my own high-resolution visual loops and exclusive mashups specifically designed for massive LED arrays, so the sound and the visuals hit the crowd at the exact same intensity. When you are playing to a crowd of thousands, you cannot just press play. You have to command the space. My festival sets are built around high-impact transitions and strict 45-to-60-minute structures where the energy never dips. Whether I am headlining at a venue like Phoenix Marketcity or playing a coastal gig at the Corona Freedom Festival in Pondicherry, the goal is total crowd immersion.
I focus on three things for large-scale events:
- Visual Synchronization: I provide custom visual loops that sync with my sets, ensuring the LED screens enhance the music rather than just distract from it.
- Genre Flexibility: From Progressive House and Techno for the main stage to Desi-Afro fusion that gets people jumping, I tailor the crate to the specific demographic.
- Mic Presence: I use the mic to coordinate, hyping the crowd in both English and Tamil—satham pathalaye (the noise is not enough)—is how I keep the energy peaking.
