About this collection
When you are dealing with thousands of people, technical reliability is just as important as the playlist. I bring my own MacBook Pro with redundant setups, but more importantly, I coordinate directly with your lighting and sound engineers for those critical special FX cues like confetti drops, CO2 blasts, and lighting stings, so every beat drop hits exactly when it is supposed to.
Playing for a massive crowd is a different beast compared to a club set. You are not just playing music; you are driving the energy of thousands of people. I have been fortunate to share the stage with artists like Harris Jayaraj and Yo Yo Honey Singh, and those experiences taught me that the DJ booth is the control center for the entire production.
My Approach to Mainstage Events
I do not just show up and plug in. I work with your production team to ensure the performance is tight:
- Visual Synchronization: Using Serato Video, I mix HD visuals that match the energy of the track, turning the LED wall into a live instrument.
- FX Mapping: Whether it is a stadium tour or a college festival, I map out key moments for pyro, CO2, and strobe lights during the buildup and drops.
- Mic Control: I handle the Hype Man duties, keeping the crowd engaged during changeovers and ensuring the energy never dips, even for a second.
I require a standard professional rider, typically involving a Pioneer CDJ console and a high-end PA system. I come with my own VDJ software rigs and backup systems, ensuring the show must go on. If you need a performer who understands festival logistics and knows how to command a mainstage, reach out. Let’s talk about your event’s technical requirements and the vibe you want to set.
DJ Sharath
I am DJ Sharath. I do not just play tracks—I control the energy of the room. When I am on a mainstage, my goal is to make sure every single person in that crowd feels the bass in their chest and loses themselves in the music.
