About Behind the Decks
When I am behind the decks, I am not just hitting play. I am actively mixing audio and visuals in real time. My setup is designed for that specific interplay, so whether I am playing at a club like Raahi or a private event, I am constantly tweaking the visuals to sync with the energy of the crowd. It is about creating a living, breathing show rather than just running a playlist.
The Audio-Visual Experience
Most people think a DJ just manages the music, but I view my performance as a full audio-visual event. I do not just play tracks; I run the visuals, syncing every drop and beat with the LED walls and lighting. This is why I started the Diskowar project — it gave me the freedom to produce my own melodic techno and ensure that the sound, the visuals, and the mood of the room are perfectly aligned.
How I Adapt to the Room
Every space in Bangalore has a different personality. When I am at a venue like Sanchez or a high-energy brunch, I read the crowd differently than I would at a late-night club set. My style is open-format, which means I can switch between house, pop, and commercial tracks based on who is on the dance floor. If the vibe is shifting, I shift with it.
Performance Details
