About The #ComeCloser Experience
This is not your standard DJ performance where I am tucked away on a raised stage. For the #ComeCloser setup, I need the console positioned right in the heart of the dance floor. It changes the dynamic entirely, because we are not just playing music at you, we are sharing the energy. It does require us to coordinate with your venue or wedding planner early to ensure the power, sound, and space logistics are handled, but the result is a raw energy that changes the vibe of the night.
After 28 years behind the decks, from my backyard in 1996 to playing global stages like Space Ibiza, I realized that the best connections happen when there is no wall between me and the crowd. That is the philosophy behind #ComeCloser.
I do not play pre-planned sets. Whether it is a luxury wedding, a high-octane sangeet, or a corporate after-party, I read the room in real time. My mixing style is fluid. One minute it is deep house, the next I am dropping a Bollywood banger, then transitioning into high-energy Punjabi beats.
The setup is immersive and my console becomes the center of gravity. This works best for crowds that want to be part of the performance. If you love house, techno, or want that desi fusion magic, this format amplifies it.
Logistically, we need to align on the technical requirements. I require an industry-standard setup, typically a Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000. I bring my own headphones and FX tools, but the venue needs to support the integration of my console into the dance floor space.
