When I say I bring the console to the dance floor, I mean it. Forget the stage and the barriers. I feed off your energy, which is why I prefer setting up right in the middle of the crowd to read the room and drop the perfect track when the mood hits. It is not just about playing music, it is about keeping the pulse of the party exactly where you need it.
What you see here is the result of 28 years of trial and error, starting from my backyard in 1996 to headlining clubs across the globe. My 'Featured' selection isn't about playing the safest hits. It is about how I build a set. I don't use pre-planned playlists because they kill the vibe the moment a crowd changes. Instead, I observe the room. I look at who is dancing, who is tired, and when the momentum needs a shift from Deep House to a heavy Punjabi drop or a sunrise techno session.
The #ComeCloser Philosophy
My style is about removing the wall between the DJ and the audience. When I perform at luxury weddings in Delhi or private corporate events, I move my console into the center of the floor. This lets me maintain direct eye contact and adjust the tempo in real-time. If the vibe is right, we push harder. If the crowd needs to breathe, I transition smoothly. This is the difference between a playlist and an experience.
A Genre-Fluid Approach
Music is about context. I curate my sets to match the specific energy of the event:
- Sundowners & Lounge: Sophisticated Deep House and Nu-Disco sets for conversations and cocktails.
- Sangeet & Weddings: High-energy fusion, mixing classic Bollywood with heavy bass and live percussion to keep the Baraat and dance floor alive.
- After-Hours & Raves: Strict, high-tempo Techno for when the real party begins at 2 AM.
Whether it is the Entertainment Premier League or an intimate wedding party, my goal remains the same. I want you to feel the music, not just hear it.
