Real Home Transformations: Before and After Interiors
I don't just show you finished photos. This is the raw journey of turning a Mumbai apartment into a home, from bare plywood and civil work to the final finish.
A before-and-after look at a passage area. What was once a cluttered space is now a sleek and functional corridor with ample storage, a seating nook, and elegant lighting.
This video shows the transformation of a master bedroom. From bare plywood structures, we created a fully finished room with a designer wardrobe and a custom upholstered headboard.
This is the living room transformation in progress. You can see how we build out the TV unit and wall panels, slowly turning an empty room into a stylish living space.
About The Art of Transformation
When you look at these images, you are seeing the 'skeleton' of a home. My process starts with the hard stuff, like fixing electrical layouts and structural plywood, which most designers hide. If you are planning a renovation, you need to understand that the quality of your home depends on these hidden layers, not just the laminate finish. I believe in showing you the dust and the process, so you know exactly what goes into your budget before we start.
Renovating a home in Mumbai is not about magic, it is about management. Whether you have a 1BHK in Dombivli or a larger apartment, the biggest challenge is always space. That is why my work focuses on practical, structural solutions.
The Renovation Process
- The Blueprint Phase: We start by taking your ideas and putting them into 3D models. This is where we discuss layout changes, including civil work and electrical point relocation.
- The Skeleton Phase: This is where my team of craftsmen works their magic. We install BWP Marine Ply frameworks, build out the wall paneling, and set up the false ceilings. This is the messy stage, but it is the most important one.
- The Finishing Phase: This is when the aesthetics happen. We apply the laminates, fit the profile lighting, install soft-close hinges, and perform the final paint job.
Why 'Jugaad' Matters
In Mumbai, space-saving is not a luxury, it is a necessity. My designs often incorporate 'jugaad'—like hidden doors integrated into bedroom wardrobes or multipurpose furniture that doubles as an ironing table. These aren't just decorative elements; they are functional decisions designed to make your daily life easier.
Working Together
My pricing is transparent. Whether you choose the Essential 1BHK package or the Premium 3BHK suite, you get a clear list of inclusions like Hettich/Hafele hardware and Asian Paints finishes. We don't believe in surprise costs midway through the project. When we work together, you get a partner who is on-site daily, ensuring the quality matches the initial 3D drawing.
