Tabla and Pakhavaj Awards and Recognition

Receiving the Pt. Lalu Singh Samman 2025 from the Taal Sargam Academy in Agra was a deeply humbling moment. For me, these recognitions are not about personal status, but a reminder of the responsibility to keep the traditions of the tabla and pakhavaj alive with sincerity and constant riyaz (practice).

Music is a lifelong journey. While I am grateful for the recognition, I truly believe my work is never finished. Whether I am playing a complex teentaal at a concert or teaching the basics of rhythm to a new student, my focus remains the same—to serve the music.
