About Mentorship & Guidance
When you are on the field, it is not just about your batting stance or bowling action. I come to the ground to speak with our squads—from the U-12 beginners to the U-23 players preparing for the Ranji Trophy. We sit down to discuss game strategy, how to handle match pressure, and the specific discipline required to represent your state or country. You need to understand the game, not just play it.
Cricket is a game of the mind as much as it is a game of skill. You might have the best equipment and the finest indoor nets, but without the right attitude—what I call vijigishu vrutti or the fighting spirit—you will struggle when the match gets tough.
My mentorship sessions are not about giving speeches from a podium. I prefer being on the ground, watching how a player approaches a drill or handles a setback after a poor delivery. For our younger trainees, I focus on the basics of dedication, like the commitment I saw from Vicky Ostwal, who travelled from Lonavala to Chinchwad every single day. For the seniors, the focus shifts to match scenarios, spell management, and the competitive temperament needed for selection trials.
Whether it is preparing for an MCA tournament or working on off-season fitness with our Power Yoga modules, my goal is to guide you through the process. We don't believe in shortcuts. We believe in sweat, drill, repeat. If you want to play for India, you have to be fully fit and mentally prepared to stay in the game for five days. My team and I are here to show you that path, provided you bring the hunger to learn.

I don't just run an academy. I am there on the ground because I know that a few words of guidance at the right time can change a player's career. My focus is on passing down the lessons I learned in Test cricket—discipline, character, and the will to keep fighting even when the odds are against you.
