About Jamming Sessions & Live Performances
In our studio in Sector 56, we focus on the real 'mehnat' of playing together. It is one thing to practice scales alone, but listening to the drummer and harmonium accompanist while you sing or play is a different skill. We keep these sessions structured yet relaxed, so you learn how to handle the microphone, take musical cues, and stay on beat even when the spotlight is on you.
Why Jamming Matters
Many students come to us with a strong foundation in theory but struggle when it comes to live performance. Our jamming sessions bridge that gap. We create an environment where you are not just reciting a lesson but actually making music.
What You Will Learn
Beyond just hitting the right note, you will learn the practical side of performance. This includes:
- Co-ordination: Learning to follow the rhythm of the tabla or drums and the melody of the harmonium or guitar.
- Microphone Technique: Understanding how to project your voice and manage the mic settings, which is essential for any stage performance.
- Stage Presence: We help you get comfortable with an audience, even if it is just a small room of fellow students. It helps you overcome the jitters before you perform at our annual Dhwani Kala Mahotsav.

We do not believe in intimidating music education. Our instructors, like Akash Bhardwaj and Juned Hussain, are there to guide you patiently. Whether you are prepping for a Prayag Sangeet Samiti exam or just want to sing your favorite Bollywood track with a live band, our studio in Sector 56 is the place to do it. We focus on the 'Dhwani family' spirit, where students of all ages help each other grow. You will find that playing in a group not only makes you a better musician but also builds the confidence to express yourself freely.
