Monthly Foundation Art Classes
Structure & Schedule
- Frequency: 8 sessions per month (2 classes per week).
- Time: 60 minutes per session.
- Batch Size: Small group classes of 6 to 10 students.
- Seating: Traditional style on studio mats or tables based on the activity.
Curriculum Scope
- Beginner: Sketching, pencil shading, and line drawing.
- Intermediate: Oil pastels, watercolors, and poster colors.
- Themes: Landscapes, cartoons, still life, and figure drawing.
Important Policies
- Attendance: No refunds or makeup classes for student absenteeism.
- Materials: Students must bring their own files, pencils, and paints (Camel/DOMS recommended).
- Admission Fee: One time registration charge applies at joining.
Quarterly Diploma & Certification Course
Academic Structure
- Duration: 3 month term with 24 total sessions (2 classes per week).
- Syllabus: Follows Prayag Sangeet Samiti or Trinity University guidelines.
- Eligibility: Qualifies students to sit for recognized board exams.
Advanced Training
- Practical: Training in Acrylics, Charcoal, or Oil Painting.
- Theory: Preparation for written theory exams required for certification.
- Exposure: Mentorship for external competitions like Radio Mirchi Spardha Idol.
Exhibition Access
- Showcase: Merit based selection for the Dhwani Kala Mahotsav annual exhibition.
- Recognition: Opportunities to win trophies during prize distribution ceremonies.
Additional Costs
- Fees: Board exam fees and exhibition framing costs are charged separately.
- Supplies: Canvas, professional brushes, and paints must be purchased by the student.

We might be known for music, but honestly, painting and drawing are just as close to our hearts. At Dhwani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, art isn’t just a side thing - it’s woven into our daily life. Our classes are a mix of serious learning and that ghar jaisa comfort (homely comfort) where kids feel free to try, make mistakes, and shine.

We’re big on the Guru-Shishya (teacher-student) bond. Like we say, "toh shishya bane rahoge toh sheesha banoge" (if you stay a student, you become a mirror). No matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn, and we’re here to guide you every step with patience, thoda sa mehnat (a bit of hard work), and lots of encouragement.

Showcasing Talent
Every artist deserves a stage. Our annual Dhwani Kala Mahotsav puts your best work in a real Fine Arts Exhibition - framed and on display, sabke saamne (in front of everyone). We love cheering for our students at prize ceremonies and help them join outside competitions too.

My Story
Namaste! We’re Dhwani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, and for us, music is life, bas (that’s it). We started with a dream and a love for our culture—our founder’s portrait is always with us at every event. Kids with stage fright, now performing confidently, that’s what makes us proud. Parents trust us, even from far away, and our Dhwani Kala Mahotsav is pure celebration. Our teachers? Bohot mehnat karte hain (work really hard). Here, we all learn together, age no bar.
