About Drawing & Painting Classes
Art at Our Heart
We might be known for music, but honestly, painting and drawing are just as close to our hearts. At Dhwani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, art isn’t just a side thing - it’s woven into our daily life. Our classes are a mix of serious learning and that ghar jaisa comfort (homely comfort) where kids feel free to try, make mistakes, and shine.
Our Approach: Guru-Shishya Vibe
We’re big on the Guru-Shishya (teacher-student) bond. Like we say, "toh shishya bane rahoge toh sheesha banoge" (if you stay a student, you become a mirror). No matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn, and we’re here to guide you every step with patience, thoda sa mehnat (a bit of hard work), and lots of encouragement.
What to Expect
- Structured drawing and painting classes, from basics to detailed work
- Theory plus hands-on practice, so you understand not just how, but why
- Classes for all - join offline in our shared studio space or connect live online from home
- Dedicated teachers who really care about each student
Showcasing Talent
Every artist deserves a stage. Our annual Dhwani Kala Mahotsav puts your best work in a real Fine Arts Exhibition - framed and on display, sabke saamne (in front of everyone). We love cheering for our students at prize ceremonies and help them join outside competitions too.
What You’ll Learn
- Drawing, sketching, and colouring lessons across different mediums (pencils, crayons, watercolours, poster paints)
- Practice with landscapes, still life, portraits, and art inspired by Indian culture
- Option to join a drawing certification course recognized by boards
If you’re looking for kids art classes or online painting classes for beginners, this is the place where art feels like home.

My Story
Namaste! We’re Dhwani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, and for us, music is life, bas (that’s it). We started with a dream and a love for our culture—our founder’s portrait is always with us at every event. Kids with stage fright, now performing confidently, that’s what makes us proud. Parents trust us, even from far away, and our Dhwani Kala Mahotsav is pure celebration. Our teachers? Bohot mehnat karte hain (work really hard). Here, we all learn together, age no bar.
My Work
Classes for Everyone - We teach Kathak dance classes, Western vocal training, Tabla lessons for kids, painting, yoga, and more.
A Stage for All - Every student gets a chance to perform at Dhwani Kala Mahotsav, facing stage fear and feeling proud.
Our Teachers, Our Gurus - Our gurus are fantabulous, giving personal attention and bohot mehnat (lots of effort) to each student.
Growth Beyond Art - We help kids and adults build confidence, discipline, and a positive attitude through performing arts.
Learn At Any Age - From tiny tots to seniors, anyone can join our Dhwani family and start their artistic journey.
