What to Expect at Our Events

When you attend a show at Dhaatu, you are stepping into a space dedicated to the arts of Bharat. Our productions range from grand spectacles with over 100 puppets to nuanced, single-narrator performances.

• Public Shows: These are generally scheduled on weekends or during festival seasons. We recommend checking availability for these early, as popular shows often reach capacity.
• Festivals: Our large-scale events, such as the Dhaatu International Puppet Festival, often span multiple days and include puppet parades, seminars, and guest performances from across the country.
• Museum & Gallery Tours: Beyond the stage, we offer guided walkthroughs of our puppet collection. These require different time slots than our stage performances, so please plan your visit accordingly.

Practical Information

Most of our events are hosted at the Mandala Cultural Centre. While some shows are free for the public, others—especially large-scale theatrical productions—require entry passes or tickets. We include registration links or contact details for these bookings directly in our announcements. If you are bringing a school group or a large party, please reach out to us in advance so we can assist with seating and ensure a comfortable experience for your group.
