Personal Style and Editorial Fashion Features
A look into how I build stories through fashion. My style is a constant dialogue between India’s rich craft heritage and contemporary visual language.
The final shot from my GQ Best Dressed feature. I'm wearing a sculptural Raw Mango dress, a piece that perfectly represents my love for fashion that pushes boundaries.
A screenshot of the online feature for GQ's "Turning Fashion Into a Canvas of Creativity." It was an honor to be recognized for my narrative-driven approach to styling.
For another GQ Best Dressed event, I wore this stunning antique gold corset and silk velvet skirt. The look is dramatic and elegant, combining texture and form.
A full-length view of the gold and brown velvet outfit. The fringe detail on the mirror was part of the event's art direction, and we used it to create a dynamic composition.
A closer look at the sculpted textile corset. The craftsmanship in this piece is incredible, and I love supporting talented designers.
A profile shot against an abstract painting. The colors in the art complement the gold and brown tones of my outfit.
A beauty shot from the event, showing the clean makeup and the simple, elegant hairstyle that balanced the dramatic outfit.
A detail of the hairstyle, featuring modern, minimalist hairpins that added a graphic element to the look.
For a different GQ Best Dressed list, I wore this archival hand-sculpted dress in a vibrant orange silk. The voluminous, architectural shape is pure fashion as art.
A playful shot showing the movement and asymmetric design of the orange dress. It was paired with crystal-embellished pumps for a touch of glamour.
About Press, Features & Personal Style
My approach to styling is rooted in storytelling rather than just clothes. Whether I am layering a heritage vest over a sharp shirt or selecting a sculptural silk piece for a magazine feature, my focus remains on building a cohesive scene. It is not about following fleeting trends; it is about finding the texture, the drama, and the history that makes a look feel cinematic and authentic.
Every piece I wear or style for a project serves a narrative purpose. In my features for GQ Best Dressed, you will notice a common thread, which is the use of structured, architectural fabrics like mulberry silk, balanced against the fluid grace of traditional motifs. I believe that personal style is an extension of creative direction. If you look at my archive, you will see a mix of archival pieces and hand-sculpted textiles. I often pair high-end pieces with unexpected accessories, like mirror-work fringe or graphic hairpins, to add a layer of tension and interest to the frame. This is the same process I use when I develop a campaign. I start with a mood or a song, then build the wardrobe around that anchor. Whether it is a sooti saree draped with a double knot or a classic Banarasi weave styled for a modern silhouette, the goal is to create a visual that stops people. If you are looking to build a wardrobe or a campaign that communicates a story without using words, this is where we begin.
