My process begins with understanding your vision. For this look, we chose a classic Sabyasachi floral lehenga, creating a vision of timeless elegance for a modern bride. The styling focuses on a cohesive look, from the perfectly pleated skirt to the selection of a statement polki necklace that complements the intricate embroidery.
As a creative director, I love telling a story through fashion. This Amit Aggarwal structured gown, with its dramatic organza and metallic detailing, is more than a dress; it's a piece of art. My styling aimed to capture its movement and architectural form, creating a powerful and unforgettable image.
Styling for publications like GQ requires a sharp, contemporary edge. For Orry's feature in GQ Best Dressed, I curated a look that was both bold and personal, focusing on statement jewelry and a modern silhouette to match his dynamic personality. This is about creating a look that gets people talking.
The classic red bridal lehenga is iconic, and my goal is to make it uniquely yours. Here, I focused on creating a regal silhouette, draping the rich fabric to highlight the exquisite gold embroidery. The look is completed with layered traditional jewelry, crafting a portrait of a timeless, royal bride.
This is where fashion becomes a fairytale. For this shoot with a breathtaking Shantanu & Nikhil couture gown, my art direction focused on creating a scene of pure fantasy. The styling highlights the gown's incredible volume and delicate embellishments, making the model look like she's walking out of a dream.
Landing a magazine cover is about creating an image that stops you in your tracks. For this Hi Celeb Magazine cover with actor Dheeraj Dhoopar, I chose a vibrant, color-blocked ensemble to reflect his energetic persona. The styling is sharp, modern, and confident, perfectly suited for a leading man.
My work is a partnership. This is a glimpse into my process, where I work hands-on with clients to ensure every detail is perfect. From adjusting the jewelry to getting the drape just right, I am there to make sure you feel confident and look flawless.
About this collection
My work goes beyond selecting an outfit. I focus on the architectural side of fashion, like the specific way a saree is draped or the fit of a corset, to ensure your look feels secure and authentic to you.
I view every styling assignment as a narrative project. My background in editorial work, ranging from GQ features to high-fashion campaigns, informs how I approach bridal styling. When I work with a bride, I apply the same rigor that I do on a red carpet. This means we look at your event venue, your personal movement, and your comfort levels to ensure the final look is not just visually striking, but physically manageable for a long wedding function.
My Styling Philosophy
- Technical Draping: I treat draping as a fundamental skill. A garment is only as good as its fall. Whether it is a heavy bridal lehenga or an avant-garde gown, I ensure the silhouettes are flattering and structured.
- Global Perspective: Having worked in the UAE and across India, I bring a mix of traditional Indian heritage and international fashion sensibilities to the table. I encourage clients to experiment with bold, powerful looks that break away from repetitive trends.
- The Process: I begin with a consultation to understand your aesthetic and goals. For wedding clients, this involves moodboarding and sourcing that prioritizes fit over labels. For editorial and celebrity clients, I manage the entire visual story, often collaborating with my trusted network of photographers and makeup artists to deliver a cohesive final result.
Whether you need a full creative direction team for a brand campaign or personalized styling for your wedding day, my goal is to make the process efficient and creative. We handle the logistics, from sourcing and fittings to on-site dressing, allowing you to focus on your event.
