Aviation Infrastructure & Heliport Architecture
We combine technical aviation compliance with functional design to create transport hubs that are efficient, sustainable, and built to last.
The entrance to the Rohini Heliport in Delhi, a project we are proud to have designed. The prominent red sculptural elements create a distinct visual identity for India's first integrated heliport, welcoming passengers to a state-of-the-art facility.
This architectural render illustrates the main terminal building of the heliport. The design features a gently curved roof and a glass facade to create a bright and open environment for passengers, with clear drop-off and pick-up zones for efficient movement.
A conceptual rendering showing the heliport terminal alongside the air traffic control tower. This view highlights the functional relationship between key operational areas, ensuring seamless coordination for aviation activities.
An aerial 3D master plan of the heliport complex. This view shows the layout of the hangars, parking bays for helicopters, the main terminal, and surrounding green landscaping, demonstrating our capability in large-scale site planning and aviation infrastructure design.
About Transportation Hubs: Airports & Heliports
Aviation architecture requires a precise balance of strict safety compliance and seamless passenger movement. We manage the technical complexity of DGCA regulations and ICAO guidelines while ensuring the facility remains a welcoming, efficient environment for daily operations.
Technical Precision in Aviation Design
Building aviation infrastructure is fundamentally different from standard commercial architecture. Every design choice must align with regulatory requirements, starting with Obstacle Limitation Surface (OLS) studies to ensure flight path safety. We specialize in navigating these constraints, working closely with aviation authorities to secure necessary approvals for both rooftop and ground-level facilities.
Sustainability and GRIHA Compliance
Our approach goes beyond basic functionality. With our work on India's first 4-Star GRIHA rated heliport, we have demonstrated that transportation hubs can be environmentally responsible. We prioritize sustainable material selection—like durable granite and steel—and optimize MEP integration to reduce the carbon footprint of high-traffic transit zones. From rainwater harvesting to solar-oriented layouts, we ensure your facility meets modern green building standards.
The Operational Reality
We don't just provide floor plans. Our scope includes the critical infrastructure that keeps a heliport or airport running:
- Pavement Engineering: Designing TLOF (Touchdown and Lift Off) areas to handle high dynamic impact loads.
- Lighting & Visual Aids: Strategically placing perimeter lights, floodlights, and wind indicators for 24/7 visibility.
- Safety & Security: Integrating fire suppression systems, non-obstructive safety netting, and secure perimeter fencing without compromising site accessibility.
Whether it is the high-altitude challenges of the Pakyong Airport or the sea-inspired curves of a new terminal, our goal is to deliver infrastructure that functions as a landmark. We handle everything from the initial site selection and master planning to the final tender drawings, ensuring your project is ready for safe, immediate operation.
