We designed this resort as a tranquil getaway, blending an urban sensibility with the nature-infused landscape of Khandala through a refined, durable material palette.

The main lobby and reception area of Radisson Resort, Khopoli, showcasing a cohesive design language. Polished marble floors, wood-slatted ceilings, and thoughtfully placed furniture create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for arriving guests.

The reception desk at Radisson Resort, Khopoli, is designed for a seamless check-in experience. The space is defined by a backdrop of vertical wood paneling, elegant pendant lighting, and a striking geometric horse sculpture that adds a touch of modern artistry.

A bespoke, geometric horse sculpture stands as a key art installation in the Radisson Resort lobby. This piece adds a strong visual anchor and reflects the project's commitment to integrating unique, contemporary art within the hospitality space.

Abstract human-form sculptures crafted from rustic metal, placed strategically within the resort. These art pieces are part of our effort to weave local craftsmanship and regional identity into the guest experience.

A comfortable seating nook in the lobby designed for guests to relax. The material palette includes warm wood paneling, soft leather upholstery, and a marble-topped coffee table, creating a cozy and refined corner.

The expansive bar and lounge area at Radisson Resort, designed to be a central social hub. The space features a long, elegant bar with comfortable seating, coffered wood ceilings, and a material palette that reflects an 'urban resort' philosophy.

The well-appointed bar at Radisson Resort, featuring warm wood tones and elegant lighting. The design includes high-back bar stools and a clean, functional layout, making it an inviting space for guests to gather.

About this collection

Notice the transition between the polished marble flooring and the wood-slatted ceilings in our lobby design. We planned these sightlines to guide the guest experience, ensuring that even in a large-scale commercial space, the atmosphere remains intimate, grounded, and welcoming from the moment of arrival.

Our approach to the Radisson Resort in Khopoli began with a fundamental question: how do we create an urban resort that feels inherently connected to the Khandala landscape? The answer lay in a material palette that prioritizes both resilience and quiet grace. We utilized Italian marble for its cool, timeless appeal, paired with warm wood paneling to ground the expansive lobby areas.

This project required meticulous attention to guest flow and spatial efficiency. In the restaurant and bar, our design focuses on multi-functional zones that transition from high-traffic breakfast service to intimate evening lounges. We integrated acoustic planning and intelligent lighting strategies to ensure these transitions happen seamlessly.

Our technical documentation for this property included comprehensive MEP coordination, ensuring that elements like HVAC and fire safety systems were integrated without compromising the aesthetic ceiling designs. We also focused on the guest room experience, introducing black-and-white photography that reflects the local waterfalls and mist of the surrounding region, firmly anchoring the interior design in its geographical context.

Every piece of furniture, from the cane-backed bar stools to the circular patterned rugs, was selected to reinforce the narrative of a serene escape. By focusing on durability, particularly in high-traffic zones, we ensured that the property maintains its visual identity long after handover. Whether we are designing 5-star hotels or boutique retreats, our goal remains consistent: creating spaces where architectural intent and commercial functionality exist in perfect balance.
