The main lounge area at Holiday Inn, Lucknow, is designed for comfort and social engagement. A mix of vibrant blue, yellow, and orange seating is arranged to create multiple conversation zones, unified by a large, colorful area rug.

Intricately designed metal and glass screens separate the lounge from the lobby, offering privacy without enclosure. These bespoke elements feature patterns that add a layer of sophistication and visual interest to the space.

The all-day dining area features a central island buffet and an open show kitchen to create an engaging environment. The high ceilings and pendant lighting enhance the sense of space, while varied seating caters to different group sizes.

About this collection

Notice the custom metal and glass screens used throughout the lounge. They define conversation zones without creating a sense of enclosure, which is a key balance when designing high-traffic hospitality spaces that need to maintain an open-plan feel while offering guests genuine privacy.

For the Holiday Inn in Lucknow, our design objective was to integrate local cultural identity within established brand standards. The success of this project lies in the details that guests might not consciously notice but definitely feel—the warmth of the reception lighting, the acoustic balance in the dining area, and the intuitive layout of the guest suites.

We utilized Italian marble and clean, geometric forms to define the lobby, creating a sense of permanence and quality. To ground the space in Lucknow, we introduced wall graphics and custom patterns inspired by local architectural motifs, ensuring these references complemented rather than cluttered the modern aesthetic.

The guest rooms focus on quiet functionality. By using custom-designed carpets and a neutral color palette, we created a serene retreat that caters to both business and leisure travelers. The open-concept bathroom design, separated by glass partitions, adds a sense of spaciousness that is vital for boutique-style rooms. Every decision, from the placement of the show kitchen to the selection of high-traffic-resistant fabrics, was made to support both the guest experience and long-term operational ease for the hotel team.
