At Untitled Design, we believe art is the soul of a structure. We collaborate with master artisans to weave heritage and narrative directly into the architecture of your home.

This installation, created with artist Ankon Mitra, showcases how traditional fold-based techniques can elevate a space. Here, a cascading origami-inspired light made from parchment floats through a triple-height atrium, introducing softness and movement.

A collaboration with Ankon Mitra, this piece titled 'Pravaah' blends origami with the Indian Shibori dyeing technique. The installation retells the story of the Radhakrishna Rasleela through folded and dyed fabric, becoming both a narrative and a textural element.

This image shows two distinct art forms in one frame: a flowing origami light installation and the vibrant 'Chilli' sculptures by Subodh Kerkar. This juxtaposition highlights our approach of curating diverse art forms to create dynamic and layered interiors.

A delicate kirigami installation, crafted from parchment leather in collaboration with Ankon Mitra, sits near a staircase. Its quiet, textural quality adds a layer of tactility and artistry to a transitional space.

In this unique collaboration, Gond art by Venkat Shyam was hand-folded into complex 'Kalmon Chain' origami shapes by Ankon Mitra. The final installation merges two distinct Indian art forms into a single, spectacular sculptural piece, showcasing our commitment to innovative craft fusion.

The 'Continuous Fragments' installation at the Daga residence is a site-responsive work that moves across walls and ceilings. This view shows the metal line sculpture navigating the architecture of the staircase, linking divided planes and casting dynamic shadows.

A close-up of the 'Continuous Fragments' sculpture, revealing how the metal line becomes a three-dimensional drawing in space. Its form references the layered architectural histories of Delhi, turning a simple line into a bridge between past and present.

For the Modi Residence, we drew inspiration from the traditional craft of Sanjhi. This intricate paper-cutting art was reinterpreted as a contemporary design for a glass partitioning screen, filtering light and creating a beautiful focal point.

The Sanjhi-inspired partitioning screen at the Modi Residence is shown here integrated with a custom wooden console. This piece acts as a functional space divider while also serving as a tribute to traditional Indian craftsmanship.

This modern mandir design, featured in Design Pataki, features a rustic stone wall engraved with sacred scriptures. The design harmoniously blends tradition, with an antique Pichwai painting, and contemporary design, with furniture from Estudio Campana.

About Art & Craft Integration

When we integrate art, we do not simply place a sculpture in a room; we work with artists such as Ankon Mitra or Venkat Shyam to ensure the piece interacts with the architecture itself. Whether it is a kirigami installation suspended in a triple-height atrium or a scripture-engraved stone wall, these pieces are commissioned to hold the specific light and shadows of your unique space.
