Signature Living & Dining Spaces
The living room is where the heart of your home beats. I create spaces that are not just for guests; they are designed to hold your stories, blending your favorite heirlooms with functional, modern comfort.
A bold, brass-detailed red door makes a powerful statement in this living room. I contrasted it with a hand-embroidered wall panel and lime-plastered walls, layering global artifacts to create a contemporary space that is both warm and culturally rich.
This versatile room serves as both a dining area and a home theatre. I designed a small pantry corner to display family heirlooms, while a custom 6-foot macrame wall hanging adds a modern craft element, creating a functional space filled with stories.
In the Bhanushali family residence, the living room is an oasis of color. Inspired by the sea, I used a striking Art Deco wallpaper and rich blue velvets to create a vibrant yet calming space for family gatherings, recycling a cherished mirror from their previous home.

I love transforming forgotten corners. Here, I brought grandpa’s old rocking chair back to life, layering it with lush plants, a vintage table from Chor Bazaar, and a Ralph Lauren wallpaper to create a cozy reading nook that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
A glimpse of me curating the library shelves in a Dubai home. I believe a library should tell the homeowner's story, so I personally source and style each object, layering books with travel mementos and curios to achieve a perfectly imperfect balance.
This reading corner on the 76th floor of a Mumbai home offers breathtaking views. I layered a handcrafted black and white inlay table from Rajasthan with a classic armchair and Pichwai-style art to create an elegant space that celebrates Indian craftsmanship.
About Signature Spaces: Living & Dining
When I design a living space, I start by asking about the pieces you already own. We do not discard the old; we find a way to make it the center of the new. Whether it is a grandfather’s rocking chair or a mirror from your previous home, these are not just objects; they are the anchors that make a house feel like your own, rather than a showroom display.
Creating a living or dining space is less about finding the right sofa and more about how the room makes you feel at the end of a long day. My process focuses on the art of balance. In a high-rise in Mumbai, for instance, this means working with the natural light to make a space feel expansive rather than enclosed. I look at how we can blend modern air conditioning and lighting solutions with traditional elements, like hand-painted wall art or a restored vintage table sourced from a local market.
I avoid the catalog look. Instead, I layer textures, like velvets, raw wood, and marble, and mix in your personal history. If you have heirlooms or a collection of books, we find a place for them, not as clutter, but as the storytellers of the room. Whether you prefer a quiet, neutral sanctuary or a vibrant room with bold colors like deep blues or reds, the goal is the same: to create a foundation for your memories. We handle everything from the initial layout and technical drawings to the final styling, ensuring that your vision is translated into a space that functions perfectly for your lifestyle.
