I design bedrooms and bathrooms that go beyond pure aesthetics to become your private retreat. Whether it's a spa-inspired washroom or a bedroom filled with personal character, I ensure every detail reflects your journey.

The pièce de résistance in this young lady's bedroom is the freestanding British tub overlooking the Mumbai cityscape. It adds a touch of unexpected luxury, transforming the room into a sophisticated and indulgent personal suite.

A view from the master bathroom's spa bath into the adjoining suite. The use of sliding glass doors creates an open, seamless flow, making the entire space feel like an expansive, light-filled retreat.

This spacious bedroom was designed as a serene oasis with a touch of Parisian romance. The video shows the muted color palette, the handcrafted bone inlay table, and the spa bath with stunning sea views, all coming together to create a calm and characterful retreat.

This bedroom was designed for a client's visiting daughter, focusing on creating a playful and layered space in a cost-effective way. The video highlights the oversized headboard, a quirky Frida Kahlo lamp, and personal touches like childhood trophies used as decor.

To create a vibrant reading nook in this Jubilee Hills bedroom, I used colorful handpicked textiles for the window seating. The space is perfect for cozying up with a book while enjoying the lush green view, completed by a hand-painted folding tray table.

In this bedroom, I created a unique art installation using framed postcards from the New York Botanical Garden. Set against a soft printed wallpaper, this cost-effective solution adds immense personality, charm, and a touch of nostalgia to the room.

In this Hyderabad bathroom, a handcrafted lattice or 'jaali' panel elegantly divides the shower and dry areas. This element, inspired by traditional Indian architecture, adds a beautiful, handcrafted touch while maintaining a sense of openness.

A wider view of the bathroom, showing how the traditional lattice panel and inlay-work cabinets are integrated into a modern, minimalist design. This demonstrates my love for blending clean lines with the richness of Indian crafts.

About Personal Sanctuaries: Bedrooms & Bathrooms

In high-rise apartments, the challenge is finding a sense of grounding. I often integrate handcrafted elements like stone jaali screens to separate wet and dry zones in bathrooms, which adds a warm, traditional texture against the sleek, modern marble surfaces typically found in luxury homes.

Your bedroom and bathroom should be the most honest spaces in your home. These are the rooms where you begin and end your day, and they need to offer more than just a place to sleep or shower. My approach focuses on creating that quiet balance—mixing the clean lines of contemporary interior architecture with the warmth of Indian craft.

For bedrooms, I steer away from standard trends. Instead, I look for ways to layer your personal history into the room. If you have an heirloom trunk, a collection of art, or even childhood trophies, we find a place for them. I often pair soft, muted palettes with textured wallpaper or oversized headboards to make the room feel enveloping and calm. It is about creating a visual language that helps you decompress.

When it comes to bathrooms, the goal is to introduce luxury without losing functionality. Whether it is installing a freestanding tub by a window for a cityscape view or using marble and brass fittings to create an understated, hotel-like finish, the space should feel like a spa. I pay close attention to lighting and flow, ensuring that even compact ensuite areas feel airy and light. By utilizing elements like natural stone and vintage-style fittings, we turn these utility zones into refreshing sanctuaries that maintain the warmth of the rest of the house.

I don't design standard bedrooms. I want your private space to be a collection of things that hold meaning for you, whether it’s a vintage trunk or a specific view you love. Let’s talk about what makes you feel truly at peace when you shut the world out.
