About Traditional Homemade Sweets
We skip the refined flour and white sugar entirely in our signature shakar paras and ladoos. Instead, we use whole wheat flour and jaggery to create that classic crunch and sweetness you remember from home. Because we make these in small batches right in our kitchen, each piece tastes fresh rather than like it has been sitting in a warehouse for months.
Our Process: From Kitchen to You
We don't operate a factory. When you order from us, we start the prep work in our own home kitchen. This means we avoid the industrial preservatives that give store-bought mithai that distinct 'packaged' taste.
Why We Choose Traditional Ingredients
- Aata (Whole Wheat) vs Maida: We use whole wheat flour for our Shakar Para because it adds a better texture and nutritional value, keeping it closer to the traditional recipes our grandmothers taught us.
- Gud (Jaggery) vs Sugar: For our energy-boosting Gond Ladoos, we stick to jaggery. It provides a deeper, earthy sweetness that pairs perfectly with the nuts and edible gum.
- Slow-Cooked Recipes: We never rush our cooking. Whether it is roasting the flour for ladoos or frying the shakar para to the perfect golden brown, we follow the time-tested methods passed down through our family.
How to Order
Since we make everything fresh to order, we need a little bit of time to get things right. Please place your order at least 2 days in advance, especially during the festival season. This ensures we can source the best ingredients and prepare your batch with the care it deserves. We are based in Malad West and can arrange for pickups or delivery across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area.
