Our approach to living and dining areas focuses on how space flows, especially in open-concept floor plans where the kitchen meets the lounge. We prioritize functional design like integrated storage for entertainment walls and fluted paneling to hide wiring, ensuring your room remains clean and clutter-free without sacrificing style.
When designing your living and dining area, we look at the house as a single connected environment. In many Delhi homes, we see the kitchen transition directly into the living room, which is why we emphasize continuity. Using a unified palette, such as warm oak or soft greys, across these zones makes smaller apartments feel much larger. We frequently use fluted wall paneling not just for visual interest, but to solve a common problem: hiding messy electrical wiring while providing depth to an otherwise flat wall. For dining areas, we prefer a mix of textures. Combining marble or stone tabletops with comfortable, upholstered chairs brings a sense of luxury without the coldness of a formal dining room. We also pay attention to lighting. Instead of relying on a single bright light, we layer ambient, task, and accent lighting to change the mood of the room from daytime activity to evening relaxation.
