Aerial rope is raw, fast, and demanding. Whether you are looking for a bold, athletic performance for your next event or hands-on training to build your own strength, let's explore this dynamic apparatus together.

My new solo rope act during a technical run. Rope has a humbling but powerful quality, and I loved creating this piece for a live festival performance.

The last training of the year had to be on the rope. It feels so good to know I can still do things after a long break from this challenging apparatus.

Working on scorpions and rolls on the aerial rope. These moves require a lot of back flexibility and core control to execute smoothly.

This sequence was originally for silks, but it's even more fun on the rope. The skills are often transferable, but the feel is completely different.

Drills are the foundation of any good practice. This is a short clip of me working on fundamental movements and conditioning on the corde lisse.

This is very much a work in progress, but it feels so nice to move on and with the rope. It's all about finding the flow and connection with the apparatus.

Back to my most favorite apparatus. There's nothing like the feeling of training on the rope, working on dynamic skills and building raw strength.

About this collection

The rope is a humbling apparatus. Unlike other aerial disciplines where you might have more surface area to work with, the rope is unforgiving but incredibly rewarding for building pure, raw power and flow. When I am on the rope, it is not just about the drops or the shapes; it is about the subtle control required to navigate a single, moving line. If you are hiring me for a performance, know that I bring that same focus to your stage, carefully balancing high-energy choreography with the precision that makes rope work so visually arresting.

Understanding the Corde Lisse

Corde lisse is one of the most athletic aerial disciplines. It demands a different kind of conditioning compared to silks or hoop. It is all about grip, core engagement, and understanding how to manipulate a single, heavy line to create momentum.

My Performance Style

My rope acts are designed to be fast, bold, and dynamic. I move away from static poses and focus on the flow—using the rope as a partner. You will see explosive climbs, controlled spirals, and those heart-in-throat descents that define modern aerial rope work. Whether it is for a corporate launch, a festival, or a private gathering, I tailor the choreography to the venue’s rigging capacity and the mood of the event.

Training and Development

If you are looking to learn, my rope classes focus on the fundamentals seen in my own practice: drills. We spend time on the basics because, without a strong foundation, you cannot access the advanced drops or sequences. We work on scorpions, spirals, and seatbelt wraps in a space where it is okay to make mistakes. My teaching style is grounded in a 'work in progress' philosophy—we train hard, we laugh, and we get stronger together.

Technical Notes for Events

For performances, I require a certified rigging point. Rope work is dynamic, so safety is the absolute priority. I will walk you through the rigging specifications during our pre-event call so that everything is safe, secure, and ready for flight. I am based in New Delhi but frequently travel to perform at venues across India.

I'm Dasha, and I've spent years getting to know the rope—and honestly, it is still teaching me something new every single training session. I am based in New Delhi but love packing up my gear and bringing this energy to stages all over India. If you want to see what is possible on a single line, let's chat.
