Aerial Performances and Artistic Movement
A glimpse into my world of aerial arts—from flowing silks to rare circus disciplines. Every performance is an experiment in strength, grace, and storytelling.
A glimpse of a dynamic duo aerial hoop performance, capturing a moment of synchronized strength and flexibility high above the audience. This is what happens when two artists trust each other completely in the air.
This is from a technical run of my solo rope act. I love the raw power and speed of the corde lisse, and building this character for the Flow Fest was an incredible creative process.
Iron jaw is a traditional circus discipline that takes immense strength and years of practice. Here's a look at a training session where I'm supporting the full weight of another person with just my bite.
Performing my hair hanging act for a live audience is an amazing feeling. This skill, suspending my entire body by my hair, always creates a moment of silent wonder, and I love sharing that experience.
A powerful duo performance on a dramatically lit stage, combining the strength of aerial straps with the unique discipline of hair hanging. This act is all about creating a big impact and telling a story through movement.
A classic and graceful sequence on the aerial silks. This apparatus is my first love, perfect for creating fluid lines, beautiful shapes, and exploring the feeling of flight.
A quiet moment of play on the aerial hoop. I love how the silhouette against the window captures the simple beauty of the shapes and spins in this solo session.
About this collection
Whether you are booking a solo silk act or a high-impact iron jaw performance, safety is the foundation of my work. I require a certified rigging point capable of supporting dynamic loads at every venue. Before we lock in a date, we will chat about your space's specific structural setup to make sure we can rig safely.
My approach to performance is never about achieving a 'finished' product. It is about the process of exploring movement and seeing what our bodies are capable of in the air. I bring this philosophy to every show, whether it is a graceful aerial silk routine that requires hours of flow, or a raw, high-energy rope act similar to what I debuted at Flow Fest.
Why the Variety Matters
I work across several disciplines because each one tells a different story. Aerial silks allow me to explore fluid, dramatic drops that feel like flight. My rope acts are faster, bolder, and demand more explosive power. Then there are the rare disciplines—hair hanging and iron jaw—which are traditional circus arts that offer a different kind of impact. These require specialized rigging and years of training to perform safely.
Customizing for Your Space
Every venue I visit in New Delhi and across India is unique. I do not show up with a generic routine. Instead, I assess your stage, the available rigging points, and the vibe of your event to adapt the performance. If you have a specific theme or a wild concept, let's talk about it. We can blend disciplines or create a duo act that works for your crowd, provided we have the right structural support to keep the performance dynamic and safe.
Dasha Fogel
I'm Dasha. I honestly spend more time hanging upside down than on solid ground, and I wouldn't have it any other way. My work is all about finding the balance between raw strength, fluid movement, and the curiosity to try things that scare me a little.
