I arrive early to set up my lighting while you finish your preparations, ensuring I never miss the rituals or the spontaneous interactions with your guests. Whether it is a small home function or a larger gathering, I work around your schedule to keep the environment relaxed.
My approach to maternity and baby shower photography is about balance. I document the formal, traditional rituals of Seemantham and Valaikappu with precision, ensuring that customs like the Homa or the final blessings are captured clearly. At the same time, I look for the unscripted moments: the look between you and your partner, or the way family members interact during the ceremony.
I use a mix of techniques to handle different lighting environments. For indoor rituals at home, I often use bounce lighting to keep the images bright and natural without creating harsh shadows. If the event is in a hall with complex lighting, I adjust my setup to ensure even exposure while keeping the mood of the room intact. I also understand that these events involve many people, so I am comfortable managing group portraits and ensuring all family members are included in the coverage.
