Family, Kids & Celebration Photography
I capture the real, unscripted moments—the laughter, the chaos at birthday parties, and the quiet joy of family time. Let's make sure you have photos that actually feel like your family.
A candid moment of a new family. I love capturing these simple, happy portraits of parents with their baby.
A quick look at a fun-filled birthday party, showing the decorations, the cake cutting, and the big group photo with all the kids and family.
A mother holding her baby in a beautifully lit hallway. This is a simple, elegant portrait that focuses on the bond between them.
A young girl dressed up for a party, posing confidently for the camera. I enjoy capturing the personalities of children at events.
A candid shot of the birthday boy, smiling as he gets ready to cut his race-car themed cake. These are the moments families will cherish.
This video captures the highlights of a baby's naming ceremony, from the venue and decor to the happy moments shared with family.
A creative baby photoshoot featuring children dressed in traditional costumes for Adi Shankaracharya Jayanthi. I am open to themed shoots for special cultural occasions.
A mother and her baby posing for a portrait at a family function. I make sure to get photos of guests as well as the main hosts.
A classic family portrait with both parents and their baby. This is a great example of a posed shot that still feels warm and natural.
A fun video from a kids' photoshoot, showing them laughing, playing, and posing with fun props. I work to make photo sessions enjoyable for children.
About Family, Kids & Celebrations
When we shoot, I focus on keeping things relaxed—especially if you have toddlers or energetic kids who don't love sitting still. I use external lighting to get clear, bright shots even in indoor party halls, so you don't end up with blurry or poorly lit photos. Whether it’s a naming ceremony or just a casual afternoon in the park, I work efficiently to capture the best expressions before the kids get tired or hungry.
How I Approach Family & Kids Shoots
My philosophy is simple: don't force it. If you try to pose a toddler for an hour, you won't get a smile—you'll get a tantrum. I prefer a mix of structured group portraits and candid, play-based photography. This lets kids be kids, while I capture those genuine reactions.
What You Get
For family sessions, I typically spend 3-4 hours with you at a location like Cubbon Park or your home. We can include costume changes, and I'll make sure to get the standard family portraits you need, followed by more relaxed shots of you just interacting with each other.
For larger events like birthdays or naming ceremonies, my goal is to document the day without getting in the way. I focus on:
- Event Details: The decorations, the cake, and the little setups you spent hours planning.
- Guest Candids: Capturing the family and your guests laughing and interacting.
- Rituals: If it's a traditional naming ceremony or puja, I know the flow of the rituals and make sure I’m positioned to capture the important moments, like the cradle ceremony.
The Logistics
I don’t believe in keeping you waiting for weeks. You’ll typically get your edited digital photos within 3-5 working days. I don't use high-pressure tactics or unnecessary equipment lists. Just a reliable camera, good lighting, and the patience to wait for the right moment.
