These sketches are my personal tributes to people who inspire me. I use these drawings to practice capturing the exact depth and emotion in a face.

My hyper-realistic charcoal sketch of the legendary boxer, Mike Tyson. I was focused on capturing the power and intensity in his gaze, as well as the famous facial tattoo.

A detailed portrait of the incredible actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The character in his face is amazing to draw, and I used charcoal to get the deep shadows and highlights.

A pencil sketch tribute to Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma. I wanted to capture his proud smile while wearing the team India jersey, focusing on the emblem and his happy expression.

About Portraits of Icons

Drawing familiar faces is how I sharpen my skills for your commissions. When I work on a portrait, I look for the specific lines—the depth in the eyes or the texture of the skin—that make a person who they are. If you like how I captured the intensity in these icons, I can bring that same level of detail to your personal photos.
