My Mandala Creative Process & Techniques
Every design starts as a single, quiet line. Here is a look at the meditative process behind my hand-drawn mandalas, from blank paper to the final, finished piece.

Here, I'm using vibrant metallic paints to color in a mandala. The rich colors and smooth consistency of the paints make the process so enjoyable, and the final result is a shimmering, colorful artwork.

A different kind of mandala, this piece is split into two colorful halves. This video shows the process of creating the concentric circles of pattern and color, resulting in a unique and eye-catching design.
About The Artistic Process
I primarily work with 300 GSM Brustro paper and Sakura Pigma Micron pens for that smooth, precise line. Each layer, especially when adding metallic accents or mirror details, requires immense patience, and these videos capture the specific rhythm I find when I am really in the zone.
Making mandalas is my quiet chat with myself, a form of therapy that helps me slow down when the world feels too noisy. When I am working on these pieces, the process matters just as much as the result.
The Technique Behind the Art
Whether I am working on a geometric ink drawing or a dot mandala on an MDF board, my process is entirely manual.
- Fine-liner Work: For my black and white pieces, I rely on Sakura Pigma Micron pens. These allow for the precision needed for intricate, repeating geometric patterns.
- Dot Mandala Art: This is a test of patience. Applying thousands of tiny dots in a gradient requires a steady hand and a calm mind. I use heavy-body acrylics that create a raised, tactile texture that you can actually feel.
- Adding Sparkle: Many of my pieces feature mirror embellishments or metallic Gelly Roll pens. These catch the light and add that sense of 'Saadgi' or simplicity that I find so beautiful.
Why I Share My Process
I often get asked about how long a piece takes. While the actual drawing time varies, the preparation and the 'flow state' take time. I believe that every little progress matters. By sharing these videos, I hope to show you that art is not just about the final frame, but about the focus and positivity poured into every single dot and line. If you are looking for a piece of art that brings a sense of calm to your home, I would love to create something that resonates with your personal space.
