Interactive Tech & Coding Workshops
Focused, hands-on learning sessions where kids move from theory to building real-world projects, from AI tools to data visualization.
A peek into our successful Gen AI Workshop, where attendees learned to use the latest AI tools to boost productivity. These sessions are designed to be practical, helping participants save time and foster creativity in their personal and professional lives.
A group photo from our data visualization workshop, featuring experts from IIT. This session focused on data analysis as a key skill for machine learning and AI, bringing real-world insights to our students.
During our data visualization workshop, students learned the Matplotlib workflow to create various types of plots like Line Plots and Histograms. This screenshot shows the hands-on coding part of the session.
We make learning interactive and fun, as seen in this quiz from our data visualization workshop. Using methods like quizzing helps students grasp concepts like data plotting and customization in an engaging way.
About Interactive Workshops & Events
These are not passive lectures where kids just watch a screen. Whether we are exploring Matplotlib workflows or testing new Gen AI tools, every session is designed to keep hands on the keyboard and minds engaged in solving a specific problem. You can expect your child to leave with a project they have actually built, not just notes they have copied down.
Why our workshops are different
I design these sessions to be intensive and highly practical. While our long-term courses provide a deep dive into programming languages like Python or Scratch, these workshops act as high-impact accelerators. They allow students to dip into advanced topics like Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization, or Cyber Safety in a short, focused timeframe.
Connecting with industry experts
One of the core strengths of our events is collaboration. I regularly invite industry professionals, including IIT alumni, to lead sessions. This gives students a rare opportunity to see how the skills they are learning in class translate into real-world applications in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, or software development.
What to expect
- Small cohorts: We keep class sizes small to ensure every participant gets individual guidance.
- Tool mastery: Kids work with industry-standard tools like VS Code, ChatGPT, and Matplotlib.
- Project-first approach: Theory is secondary. We start with a problem and build the solution, ensuring the concept clicks through application.
Whether you are a beginner curious about coding or a teen looking to build a portfolio for university applications, our workshops provide a space to experiment, fail safely, and learn. It is about building confidence as much as it is about building code.
Code Minors
I am Sakshi, and I started Code Minors to turn the 'boring' theory of tech into something tangible and exciting for kids. I focus on bridging the gap between classroom concepts and industry-standard tools so that every student walks away feeling capable and curious.
