Coding and Computational Thinking Programs for Kids
Most coding classes teach kids to drag blocks. We teach them how to think like programmers. From screen-free logic games to Python and Scratch, we help your child build a foundation of computational thinking that lasts. 🧠
Watch the moment a child's code brings a robot to life. In our bot programming course, students learn to write instructions and see the immediate physical results, making coding a tangible and exciting experience.
Embark on a bot adventure with us. This video highlights how our bot learning programs unlock creativity, boost brainpower, and turn kids into confident code wizards, all while having fun.
Did you know the programming language Scratch was designed to make coding accessible to everyone? We use Scratch to help kids create their own interactive stories, games, and animations, breaking down barriers for young learners.
About this collection
Our approach is simple: understand the logic first, code later. Whether we are using grid maps on the floor for our youngest students or complex logic puzzles for older ones, we ensure your child masters the concept before they write their first line of code. This way, they are not just memorizing commands, they are learning how to break down and solve problems systematically 💡.
Our Learning Philosophy
We believe coding is a language, not just a task. Many programs have children mindlessly moving blocks on a screen without understanding the underlying logic. At Code-Riite, we ditch the screens to focus on the 'why' and 'how' of programming.
The Learning Path
- Junior Logic Builder (Ages 5-10): We start entirely screen-free. Kids use printable activity mats, sorting cards, and floor mazes to learn algorithms, loops, and sequencing. This creates a tactile understanding of how a computer 'thinks.'
- Creative Coder (Ages 6-12): Once the foundation is set, we move to Scratch. Here, students create interactive stories and games. They aren't just following tutorials; they are learning to debug their own work and own their creative output.
- Young Developer (Ages 10+): For kids ready for text-based languages like Python or Java, we focus on syntax, data structures, and capstone projects. We treat them like junior developers, emphasizing code readability and error handling.
Why Choose Our Programs?
We cap our batch sizes at 1-4 students. This allows our instructors to provide real-time, line-by-line feedback. We don't just lecture; we facilitate workshops. By combining active floor time, verbalization of logic, and consistent brain teaser drills, we ensure your child develops the persistence and confidence needed for future tech success. Whether it's through bot programming or writing their first Python script, we provide the tools for your child to become a creator, not just a user. 🚀
Code-Riite
We started Code-Riite because we were tired of seeing kids just clicking buttons on a screen. We prefer to get messy and hands-on, using floor games and puzzles to teach real logic. Our goal is to help your child think smart, not just click smart.
