When we shoot these traditional portraits, the secret to the perfect look is in the draping. I provide the sarees, accessories, and the helping hand needed to style them so the fabric frames your bump just right. It is a slow, relaxed process that lets us capture those classic, painting-inspired frames without you needing to worry about managing outfit changes or styling on your own.

My Approach to Ethnic Portraits
I draw inspiration from classic Indian art to create setups that feel timeless. We move away from generic backdrops and use warm, painterly tones, antique-style props like puja thalis, fresh flowers, and textured fabrics.

- Wardrobe: You do not need to bring your own collection. I have a dedicated wardrobe of sarees—from rich silks to sheer, flowy drapes—that are chosen specifically for how they sit over a growing bump.
- Posing: If you are worried about feeling stiff in front of the camera, I guide you through poses that emphasize grace. We focus on natural hand placement and the emotional connection between you and your partner.
- Styling: Every session includes help with draping and jewelry. We want you to feel like royalty, so we take our time to get the pleats and pallu exactly where they need to be.
