Why I Photograph Newborns
I try to hold onto the magic of those first days with a newborn because, honestly, it disappears before you even realize. I photograph babies to capture those sleepy grins, tiny feet, and the way their hands wrap around your finger. These photos aren’t just images - they’re stories, and I want families to have memories that feel full of love.
How I Work
I keep things gentle and warm. My studio in Whitefield is somewhere you can actually relax, with the AC set just right and everything ready for your little one. I focus on natural newborn portraits and cozy baby studio sessions. I look for the tiny details - fuzzy ears, wrinkly toes, those peaceful faces when they’re totally knocked out.
What’s Included
- Props and styling: You’ll find soft wraps, knitted hats, little baskets, and a bunch of fluffy rugs. If you want, you can bring something special from home, like a family blanket or a toy.
- Themes: From classic florals to boho setups, I do my best to create something beautiful but not over the top.
- Family photo shoot: I always include time for parents and siblings. I want to get those real hugs and smiles - sometimes it’s messy but that’s real life.
Tips for a Smooth Shoot
Best time for photos? When your baby is still super sleepy, usually within the first few weeks. If your baby isn’t feeling well or just got vaccinated, it’s better to wait a few days. Loose clothes make it way easier to get those dreamy newborn photography setups.
