At Clap Sports Arena, we believe skating is more than just balance. We build complete athletes through off-skate agility drills, strength conditioning, and essential health sessions.

We were grateful to host Dr. Sirisha Reddy for an insightful dental health session with our academy kids. We believe in caring for our skaters' overall well-being.

Fitness is key. Here, a skater uses tires for a strength and balance workout, showing that our training goes beyond just being on wheels.

About this collection

Most academies focus only on the rink, but we look at the athlete as a whole. You will see our skaters doing tire jumps, agility ladder drills, and hoop games long before they ever strap on their skates. This is not just about balance; it is about building the explosive leg power and core stability required to prevent injuries and maintain form during high-speed laps.

Speed skating demands immense coordination, aerobic capacity, and a robust body. That is why our curriculum includes specific 'dryland' training alongside our on-rink coaching. We use tools like resistance parachutes, drag tires, and agility ladders to prepare muscles for the intensity of competitive skating. These exercises translate directly to better crossover techniques and improved posture during tight turns.

Athletics is a lifestyle, not just a weekend activity. Our sessions are designed to build longevity in sport. Beyond the physical drills, we focus on well-being by hosting awareness sessions, such as dental health check-ins with specialists. We want our students to grow up strong, healthy, and confident.
