Real connection happens when we switch off the screens and pick up a book. I use storytelling and hands-on art to help your child explore their curiosity one page at a time.

Parents often ask me how to get their child's attention beyond screens. The truth is, there are no shortcuts. It's about being present and available for them, just like we wanted from our parents.

Watch the number 6 transform into a snail! I love creating these simple drawing tutorials that show kids how to turn numbers and letters into fun art. It's a great way to build creativity and confidence.

Here's another fun one: turning the number 2 into a friendly frog. These easy drawing ideas are perfect for a quick, creative activity at home. Give it a try with your little one!

We recently did a read-aloud of 'Clifford the Big Red Dog'. The kids made their own Clifford art and we talked about the excitement and anxiety of starting school.

After our story, the kids worked on a giant floor puzzle of Clifford. Puzzles are a fantastic activity for developing problem-solving skills and teamwork.

This little one is carefully sorting through the puzzle pieces. Activities that follow a story reading help reinforce the themes and characters, making the experience more memorable.

I highly recommend the 'Sochu' book series by Chetan Vohra. They are great for starting conversations with kids about important topics like 'Where is God?' and 'What do I want to be when I grow up?'.

Learning has no age! This was from a charcoal painting workshop where we had participants from 4 to 55 years old, all enjoying and learning a new art form together.

For our Earth Day workshop, the theme was 'Let's Conserve Water'. We did fun activities to teach kids about the importance of saving our planet's resources.

About My World of Books & Learning

Parents often ask me how to keep kids engaged without tablets. There is no hack, just being present. Whether it is turning a number into a frog or solving a floor puzzle after a story, I focus on activities that build actual curiosity rather than just occupying their time.
