Makeup Artistry Techniques & Classroom Demos
I believe in logic, not myths. Here’s a peek into my Noida classroom where I break down techniques—from airbrushing to the perfect winged liner—without any gatekeeping.
Straight from the classroom, this is the work of a 100% beginner on day 14. My focus is to guide students to work independently and fix their own mistakes, because that's how true learning starts.
Understanding makeup with logic is key. Here, I am explaining how to apply shimmer on the eyelid without it spreading all over, focusing on precise placement for maximum impact.
Some gyaan on airbrush makeup application. I teach my students to map the face and apply foundation in a systematic way to ensure an even, flawless, and non-patchy finish.
For clients with weepy eyes, strip lashes can be a problem. In this practice session, I am demonstrating how to use corner lashes and individual lashes to create a beautiful lift without activating the tear duct.
A class in progress, where I am teaching about color theory and aesthetics. Understanding which colors work on different skin tones is crucial for creating a look that pops.
Here I am explaining the difference between a cool-toned contour and a warm-toned bronzer. Knowing when to use each product is essential for creating either a sculpted or a sun-kissed look.
What's the difference between shimmer and glitter? In this class, I break down the different types of products and show students when and how to use them effectively.
More gyaan on winged eyeliner. I always say, draw the wing first. This clip shows my students how to create a thin, sharp wing, especially on smaller eyes.
Understanding warm and cool tones is very important. Here, I am showing my students an eyeshadow palette and pointing out the different tones to help them develop their color sense.
A peek into my classroom where I am demonstrating skin prep. I emphasize hygiene and the importance of using the right moisturizer for the client's skin type.
About Inside the Classroom: Techniques & Demos
You don't learn by just watching; you learn by doing. In my academy, I don't just demo a look and move on. I watch you apply every brushstroke, correcting your hand movements and color choices on the spot. Whether it’s fixing a grey mouth area or mapping out an airbrush foundation, I make sure you fix your own mistakes because that’s the only way you truly own the craft.
Why Logic Matters
Many makeup artists struggle because they memorize steps rather than understanding the 'why' behind them. My training is built on logic. If you understand why a product behaves a certain way on acne-prone skin or why a specific color corrector is needed for a dusky complexion, you stop guessing and start creating.
What You Will Master
In my 17-20 day intensive professional makeup course in Noida, we cover everything from the ground up:
- Base Perfection: Achieving that 'second skin' finish without caking, including airbrushing techniques that last for 15+ hours.
- Color Theory: Moving beyond basic application to understanding how to match products to Indian skin tones, ensuring no ashiness or patchiness.
- Eye Artistry: From sharp winged liners for small eyes to handling hooded lids and creating smokey eyes that actually pop.
- Problem Solving: Techniques like my signature 'zero-grey' mouth area correction and choosing individual lashes for weepy eyes.
The Classroom Experience
I run small, focused batches of maximum 10 students. Why? Because you aren't here to watch a video; you are here to learn from my mistakes and successes. I am on the floor with you, from start to finish. You’ll use professional tools from The Nari Studio, participate in portfolio photoshoots, and learn the business side of the industry—how to handle clients and manage your own social media.
My promise is simple: no gatekeeping, just pure skill and mentorship that continues even after you graduate.
