About Building Your Professional Portfolio
My portfolio sessions are not about just clicking photos; they are about teaching you how to work with fashion photographers and agency models to create commercial-grade content. You will learn to style the look, manage lighting, and execute the makeup so that the final image is exactly what you need to attract serious clients.
A portfolio is the first thing a client looks at. If your work looks amateur, it is hard to convince people to hire you. That is why in my 17-20 day professional course, I dedicate two to three full days specifically to portfolio building. You will be working with professional agency models and fashion photographers, mimicking real industry shoots.
I teach you the why behind everything. Why does a specific lighting setup wash out the base? How do you keep the skin looking dewy without it turning into a greasy mess under studio lights? You will learn to manage these variables. We focus on:
- Lighting and Texture: Learn how to shoot for brands. I show you how to maintain the skin’s texture while using professional lighting so the makeup does not look cakey.
- Styling and Execution: It is not just about the makeup. You will learn how to coordinate hair, draping, and jewelry to create a cohesive beauty shot.
- Commercial Standards: You will understand what makes an image stand out and how to communicate your vision to a photographer.
