I design embroidery that tells your story. From temple jewelry patterns to intricate peacocks and florals, every motif is sketched and stitched to make your outfit uniquely yours.

This design features unique, three-dimensional parrot tassels, meticulously crafted with beads and thread. These small details are what I focus on to make each piece special and truly couture.

A vibrant red blouse featuring a large, colorful peacock motif on the sleeve. The use of green, blue, and gold threads brings the bird to life, making it the centerpiece of the design.

This blouse showcases a beautifully embroidered peacock motif on the sleeve, using the saree's own border as a design element. The scalloped neckline adds another layer of delicate detail.

A lovely pink blouse with a unique embroidered panel on the shoulder featuring a bird motif. This asymmetrical design element adds a modern twist to a traditional garment.

This purple blouse features a central peacock motif on the back, created with zardosi and stone work. The sleeve details include floral buttons, showing how different elements can be combined in one piece.

Here, I've combined a plain red blouse with an Ikat fabric panel on the back. The design is elevated with beadwork and embroidery along the neckline, complementing the elephant motifs on the saree.

This golden blouse is adorned with bold, pink embroidered roses. The vibrant threadwork creates a beautiful contrast against the mustard-gold fabric, perfect for a festive occasion.

This blouse features a striking temple jewelry inspired deity motif on the sleeve. It's a powerful and traditional design, intricately embroidered with gold and colored threads for a divine look.

A mustard yellow blouse with peacock motifs embroidered in a contrasting purple thread. This piece was designed to be paired with a Banarasi saree, creating a rich and coordinated ethnic look.

This blouse features a large, multi-colored paisley motif on the back, filled with a lotus and other floral details. It's a perfect example of how I use thread painting to create artistic and vibrant designs.

About Custom Motif Designs

When I draft a motif design for your blouse, I consider more than just the pattern. We look at the saree border and the fabric weight to determine if a heavy Zardosi peacock or a lighter thread-work floral cluster will sit best on the sleeve. This decision ensures that the embroidery enhances the garment's structure rather than weighing it down, giving you a finish that looks intentional and clean.

Every embroidery project in my studio begins with the same goal: making the motif meaningful to you. Whether you want to recreate a specific design from family jewelry or need a custom pattern to match a motif on your Kanchipuram saree, I break the process down into manageable steps.

My Approach to Custom Motifs

  • Conceptualization: We start by analyzing the saree. If you have an existing motif like an elephant or lotus on the border, I create a complementary design for the blouse that mirrors those shapes without cluttering the look.
  • Technique Selection: I select the stitch based on the fabric. For heavier silks, I lean toward Aari work using Zardosi coils to give a rich, raised texture. For lighter fabrics like crepe or net, I prefer thread painting to keep the design fluid.
  • Detailing: The finish is where the difference lies. I focus on elements like scalloped necklines, pearl hangings, and bead locking to ensure that even the smallest motif looks sharp.

I treat every piece like a diary entry. You are involved in the design transfer process, so you know exactly what is going onto your fabric before the needle ever touches it. If you have an idea, even a rough sketch, bring it to me, and we will figure out how to make it work for your specific fabric and occasion.
