Why I Am Always On-Site
Planning is the easy part. Execution is where the real work happens. Most people see the final output—the beautiful flowers, the lights, the stage. What they don't see is the 1 AM setup, the coordination with the venue staff, and the adjustments we make when the weather decides to rain on an outdoor sangeet.
My approach is simple: I treat every event like my own. Whether it is a grand wedding at a resort or an intimate baby shower at home, I am there to:
- Conduct Site Walkthroughs: I meet you at the venue to check the power points, the ceiling height, and the layout before we finalize the sketch.
- Handle Last-Minute Surprises: Things happen. If a vendor is late or the decor needs a quick tweak to look better in real life, I make those calls on the spot.
- Manage Vendor Coordination: From the catering team to the Dhol artists, I ensure everyone is in sync so the event flows without you needing to intervene.
The Reality of Event Planning
I have seen it all. I have had to rework entire stage setups because a guest had an opinion on the color scheme, and I have had to rain-proof open-lawn events on the fly. My job is to act as a buffer. I take the pressure, the stress, and the technical challenges, leaving you with nothing to do but enjoy your celebration. If you are looking for someone who tells you 'yes' to everything and then disappears when things get difficult, I might not be the right fit.
